
U.S.-China Association of Commerce Spring Banquet Successfully Held, Ushering in a New Chapter of Future Cooperation

On the evening of March 9, 2025, the United States-China Association Of Commerce (USCAC ) held its 2025 LUNAR NEW YEAR GALA in Gaithersburg, brining together entrepreneurs , chamber members ,and distinguished guests to celebrate the successes of the past year and explore new opportunities for future collaboration.
A Festive of Evening of Celebration and Networking
The event officially began at 5:00PM, with guests arrived, checked in, and took photos. At 5:45PM, a traditional lion dance performance symbolizing good fortune and prosperity set a festive tone for the event.
At 6:00 PM, hosts Chris Max and Jessica Guo officially commenced the gala, welcoming attendees and providing an overview of USCAC's history and mission. Following the opening remarks, the event featured a review video highlighting the remarkable milestones and accomplishments achieved by the chamber and its members. The video showcased its efforts in promoting U.S.-China trade, cultural exchange, and community development. The video received a warm round of applause from the audience, earned a warm applause from the audience.
Leadership Insights and Vision for 2025
At 6:00PM, USCAC President, Mr. Qili Li, delivered the welcome speech. He expressed his gratitude to all attendees shared his reflections on USCAC’s 32-year journey.
"It is a great honor to welcome all of you to our 2025 Annual Banquet. Over the past 32 years, our chamber has witnessed the ups and downs of US-China relations and the rapid economic growth of China. Thanks to the dedication of past presidents and key chamber members, we have remained united and made outstanding contributions to business exchanges between China and the United States.”
President Li commended the chamber members for their unwavering commitment and impressive achievements over the past year. He also extended heartfelt appreciation to all those who have supported and participated in USCAC’s initiatives. Looking ahead to 2025, He also outlined USCAC‘s
key priorities and plans for 2025, encouraging members to explore new opportunities in the changing environment and collaborate for a brighter future.

Acknowledging Corporate Support & Strengthening Business Connections
Before the dinner commenced, the hosts expressed gratitude to several corporate members for their strong support of the event. A corporate introduction video was played, showcasing these esteemed enterprises, which then engaged in in-depth networking and discussions with guests.
Entertainment and Scholarship Initiatives
Throughout the event, the renowned Washington-based band, New Normal Band, delivered a live performance, creating a lively and enjoyable ambiance.
Professor Wei Tang, a USCAC Education Committee member and scholarship evaluation expert, introduced the USCAC Scholarship Program, a community-driven initiative that encourages Asian-American youth to actively participate in community activities.

In 2024, 21 students were awarded scholarships, and the program received high praise from the community.

In 2025, USCAC plans to expand the scholarship program, inviting more Asian, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander youth to apply.

The evening’s highlight came around 8:00 PM with an exhilarating lucky draw.USCAC Honorary Presidents, chamber team members, and sponsors generously donated red envelopes and gifts, which were raffled off to multiple lucky attendees.
